Obernkarbi.dk is a presentation of the creative work of Mads Bech Paluszewski-Hau (1977), a danish artist and independent cultural producer living in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Educated MA (2009) in Geography and Performance Design from Roskilde University, his interests are within the realms of urban space interventionism, sound-installation and performing with sound, circuit bending, experimental music and DJing.
Originally a bassplayer in the post-rock band kEINER nIEMAND, since the early 2000′s he has worked as artist, musician, composer, sound technician, cultural producer, project leader, workshop facilitator, conceptual developer, and cultural development consultant.

Changing the writing into a more direct form, I’ll give away a little secret: Obernkarbi was originally a sms autotext-misspelling of a nickname my brother calls me. Now, here might be a grand lecture on giving meaning to errors, but I’d rather leave that to Winnie the Poo whom I adore so much.
